headed out to Altadena to hit the trail leading up to Echo Mountain – where once a victorian hotel used to sit as a part of the Mount Lowe Railway system.  It was a steady up fill climb up to an elevation of about 3100ft.

lots of switch backs to the top – and every time we turned, we saw the blimp above rose bowl, downtown, century city, palos verdes, and Mt Blady
